Little Papaya is a social network for parents with children, expecting parents, and the local communities that support and surround them. It is a site where users can find others who are either as far along in their pregnancy as they are or have children the same ages as theirs; see what businesses in their area have what they need, from kid’s haircuts to childproof doorlocks; and feel a part of a bigger community that will support them and their family through what can be an exciting and trying time.
Little Papaya was founded by a group of friends who came to the conclusion that there was no good place on the web to find local maternity or baby clothes stores and shops, information on being an expecting or new parent, or tips on which restaurants had changing tables in the men’s restroom. Not finding a site that suited our tastes LittlePapaya was born, no pun intended.
Ultimately, we want Little Papaya to be a community where parents can find support and help from the online and local real-life communities.
